A Lecturer at the School of Sustainable Development of the University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD), Dr. Peter Asare-Nuamah, is among twenty (20) global youth leaders selected for the first cohort of the Youth Scientists Group (YSG), an initiative of the World Food Forum (WFF) of the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO).
The Youth Scientists Group (YSG) is a platform for youth leaders and researchers to provide innovative, policy-oriented, science-based solutions, and to address hunger and promote a sustainable global food system.
Dr. Asare-Nuamah, who is a Lecturer in Climate Change, is the only representative from Ghana. He has gracefully scaled through the second stage and has also received feedback on the third stage waiting to be among the finalists. He was one of the panellists of the Youth Scientists Group (YSG) virtual event in Science, Technology, and Innovation, held on the 2nd of May, 2022.
