The Grants Management Team is responsible for assisting the University Community with the necessary administrative research support activities related to proposal/grant submissions, research grants/contract management and administration, amongst other activities.

This team will be responsible for setting standards and ensuring effective dissemination of high quality research output. They will also be responsible for monitoring projects, implementation, evaluating research outputs/metrics and publications.
The Ethics Services Team provides effective and integrated administrative support for ethical review, establishing systems for ethical clearance and approval processes for all research protocol within disciplines in the University. The Innovations and Translation Team will manage and lead the University’s innovation, registration, patenting, and commercialisation of intellectual property amongst others. The team will also place specific emphasis on developing innovative mechanisms for the university’s engagement with industry.
As part of RICU’s goal of becoming financially independent, we are working with management to establish and operate a fully functional consultancy unit that will be taking up projects and programs both internally and externally by staff and researchers of the university to generate internal funds to undertake activities for the unit and the university community.
