Albert Kwesi Bondzie is a seasoned higher education administrator and currently serves as Senior Assistant Registrar and Head of the Examinations Unit at the University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD). With over twenty-five (25) years of professional experience in Ghana and abroad, he brings to his role a wealth of institutional knowledge, administrative expertise, and academic insight.
Mr. Bondzie was the first Assistant Registrar and Coordinator at the Office of the Dean of Students’ Affairs at UESD, a position he held for four (4) years and four (4) months following the establishment of the University. His leadership during this formative period contributed significantly to the development of effective student administration systems.
Mr. Bondzie holds a Master of Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) and a Diploma in Education (DipEd) from the University of Cape Coast, as well as a Diploma in Business Studies (DBS) from the Cape Coast Polytechnic (now Cape Coast Technical University).
Throughout his career, he has served in diverse capacities, including Director, Acting Administrator, Lecturer, Head of the Marketing Department, Head of the Examinations Office, and Researcher at more than 10 reputable institutions. His professional journey spans both local and international institutions such as Lewisham College, London (UK), the National Centre for Social Research, London (UK), Research International Limited (now Kantar Operations Limited), London (UK), and several tertiary institutions in Ghana, including Kessben University College, Kumasi, Perez University College, Pomadze Winneba, Zenith University College, La Accra, Kaaf University College, Budumburam, and BIMAKS College of Business and Health Sciences, Agona Swedru. He has also worked with Aggrey Memorial Zion Senior High School, Cape Coast, and the Ghana Society for the Physically Disabled, Head office, Accra.
Highly regarded for his meticulous approach, strong interpersonal skills, and attentive listening, Mr. Bondzie is deeply committed to academic administration, teaching, and research. He is married with children and enjoys reading, teaching, and scholarly research.
