Maiden Congregation
The University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD), Somanya, Eastern Region announces for the information of its pioneer graduands and the general public that its 1st Congregation to award degrees to persons who completed their programme of study in the 2023/2024 academic year will be held as follows:

1. Date: Saturday, 23^rd November 2024
2. Time: 9:00 am prompt
3. Venue: Forecourt of the Multipurpose Building, UESD Campus, Somanya
4. Theme: “Sustaining Our Future: Innovating for a Greener Tomorrow” 

Registration for the Congregation:

Graduands who have completed their programmes of study and wish to be presented in the November 2024 Congregation Ceremony are required to note the following to register:

1. Confirm that their names appear on the list of graduating students.
2. Pay a graduation fee of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (500 GHS) at any branch of GCB PLC into the UESD Fee Account.
3. Ensure that all outstanding financial obligations to the University are fulfilled.
4. Register online from 14^th – 21 November, 2024.

5. Graduands should then proceed to the designated collection point for their graduation gowns, and invitation cards for up to two guests.

1. Rehearsal for Graduands 22^nd November, 2024 at the forecourt of the Auditorium from 1pm to 3pm.

Collection and Return of Academic Gowns:

Gowns will be available for collection on 22^nd November, 2024. All Gowns may be returned after the ceremony or latest by 4p.m on 25^th November, 2024. Failure to do so will attract a penalty of GH₵ 50.00 per day.

Attire:

Graduands to be presented will be expected to be appropriately dressed, with the gown over a Suit/Jacket with a tie. 

List of Graduands:

A list of graduands to be presented on November 23, 2024, of the Congregation will be available on the University’s website at www.uesd.edu.gh.
