Peter Asare-Nuamah, a Lecturer at the University of Environment and Sustainable Development, Ghana, holds a PhD in Governance and Regional Integration from Pan African University, Cameroon. Peter also has a Master of Public Administration and Postgraduate Diploma in Research Methodology, from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, India, and a Bachelor of Arts in Information Studies with Geography and Resource Development, from University of Ghana. Peter is keenly interested in championing sustainable development of human society and the environment. He therefore employs in-depth quantitative and qualitative research skills and experience to offer solution-oriented contributions to issues of climate change, adaptation and environmental management. In addition, Peter has research interest in disaster management, public policy, and governance. As a practitioner, Peter has extensive experience in project development and execution. He exhibits good leadership qualities and has served in diverse leadership positions in Ghana, India, and Cameroon, among others. Of particular mention is his contribution to the advancement of science, technology, engineering and mathematics education among students at different levels of education in Ghana, in his capacity as the Next Einstein Forum Ghana Ambassador. Peter is equally interested in harnessing the potential of youth for socioeconomic development as well as advocating for good leadership and governance, which are critically needed for Africa’s development. Peter uses his leisure time to read, swim, explore graphic design software and watch investigative and innovative series.
