Dr. Michael Tuffour is a Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Sustainable Development and Policy of the University of the Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD), Somanya. He holds a PhD in Development Studies; MPhil in Agricultural Economics; BA in Economics and Information Studies; all from the University of Ghana, Legon.
His research interest is in urban economics and agricultural development. Besides, he has conducted studies in urban agriculture, health and planning and in cocoa and poultry production.
Dr. Tuffour has over 10 years university teaching experience in microeconomics, macroeconomics, research methods and courses that are related to SDG goals 1, 2, 3,11, 12 and 13.
