Credit Passes (A-D) in core English, core Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies and three elective subjects. The electives must be Elective Mathematics and any two of the following: Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Economics, Building Construction, and Technical Drawing with aggregate score of 24 or better.

WASSCE/SSSCE candidates shall be admitted into Level 100 (First Year) of the Four- year Bachelor’s Degree Programme.
Five credits (including English Language, Mathematics, a General Arts subject and a Science subject) in the WAEC General Certificate of Education (GCE/WASC) Ordinary Level Examination; and three passes in Advanced Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Economics at the Advanced Level of the GCE is a requirement. One of the Advanced Level passes should be a grade D or better. A pass in General Paper is a requirement.

HND graduates with relevant background may be admitted in Second Year of the programme. HND graduates with pass will be required to go through an interview and pass before they may be considered for admission. Two years Diploma holders from recognized Universities may be admitted into second year of the programme while three years Diploma holders may be admitted into third year of the programme. In both cases, those who graduated with pass will have to pass an interview.
The applicant must be at least 25 years old, and show proof of age with birth certificate or any legitimate documentary proof of birth date which is at least 5 years old at the time of application;
For admission into chartered institutions, applicant must pass Mature Students’ Entrance Examinations conducted by the institution itself (English Language, Mathematics and an Aptitude Test).
Foreign students may be admitted on the basis of qualification from their home country for which the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) shall determine equivalence. Evidence of proficiency in English Language will be required in the case of applicants from non-English speaking countries.
