The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Environment and Sustainable Development, (UESD) Prof. Eric Nyarko-Sampson has again lauded the selfless contributions of members of staff to the growth of the University.
He reiterated the point when he received some working tools from the Director of Physical Development and Estate Management, (DPDEM) of the University, Dr. Isaac Abbam, in the Council Chamber. The items included wellington boots, work goggles, screw drivers, volt Metres, cutlasses, saws and shovels.
Prof. Nyarko Sampson expressed his profound appreciation for the gesture. He said he was humbled by Dr. Abbam’s thoughtfulness and kindness and indicated that the tools will be put to good use. He also welcomed contributions from the other members of staff and from the public.
Dr. Abbam said, he made the donation as his contribution to keeping the environment in shape. The Registrar, Mrs. Mary Abena Agyepong, who also witnessed the presentation of the item expressed appreciation to Dr. Abbam for the donation.
Also present was the Director of Finance, Mr. Baffour Awuah Kwabi.
