A security service provider in Ghana, AFWEST International Security, has donated buckets of paint to the University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD), Somanay, Eastern Region in support of its first Congregation. The donation includes twelve (12) buckets of emulsion paint (20L and white wash), four (4) buckets of oil paint (4.5L), and a roll of sandpaper.
The items were presented by the Managing Director of AFWEST, Mr. Richard Torku along with a Director in the company, Mr. Ato Kwamina Swatson, who expressed pride in supporting the University’s initiative.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Eric Nyarko-Sampson, received the donation and extended his heartfelt gratitude to AFWEST for its contribution, noting that it will significantly assist in preparations for the upcoming event.
UESD’s 1st Congregation will take place on 23rd November 2024 at the Forecourt of the Multi-Purpose Building, UESD Campus, Somanya, under the theme “Sustaining Our Future: Innovation for a Greener Tomorrow.”
