The outgoing SRC executives of the University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD) have presented a citation to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Eric Nyarko-Sampson in appreciation for his unwavering support and guidance throughout their tenure. The citation acknowledges the Vice-Chancellor’s commitment to fostering a conducive academic environment and promoting student success.
Additionally, they donated six LED street lights to the University, a gift facilitated by the Yilo Krobo Member of Parliament in response to a request made during the recent SRC Week celebration.
The presentation was attended by Pro the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Edward Wiafe Debrah and Deputy Registrar Dr. Hammond Oppong Kwarteng.
The outgoing SRC President, Mr. Benard Akowuah, expressed gratitude to Prof. Nyarko-Samson for his steadfast support and dedication to student welfare and past SRC administrations. A separate citation was presented to the Registrar, Mrs. Mary Abena Agyepong, acknowledging her nurturing and supportive role towards the student body and SRC executives, with the citation received by Dr. Oppong Kwarteng on her behalf.
Prof. Wiafe Debrah expressed his gratitude for the thoughtful gifts and commendable initiative by the SRC, encouraging continued positive contributions to the University community.
