Mr. Kofi Nimo Amponsah is a Senior Assistant Registrar (SAR) at the University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD), Somanya, eastern Region. He holds an MBA in Strategic Management and Management Consulting from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi.
Mr. Amponsah is an astute administrator with over twenty-six years of experience in management, administrative procedures, and schedules. Out of these years, he has close to fifteen (15) years of appreciable working knowledge in university administration and higher education, with the ability to manage and prioritize competing demands while working under minimal supervision.
Prior to his appointment at UESD, Mr. Amponsah worked as an Assistant Registrar at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, the School of Research and Graduate Studies, the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, and the Office of the Registrar at the Catholic University College of Ghana, Fiapre-Sunyani.
In his current role as the Head of Academic Affairs, Mr. Nimo Amponsah is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the University’s academic records and serves as Secretary to the Academic Board. He is a member of the Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA) and Fellow, Chartered Economist, Ghana.
